Telecommunications company Vodafone

Vodafone Home offers fiber-optic internet for apartments, private homes, and offices, ensuring a stable connection even during power outages. Utilizing GPON technology, the optical cable is routed directly into your premises, and the network does not rely on a power supply at intermediate nodes.

The chain infrastructure is equipped with a backup power source, allowing it to operate autonomously for up to 100 hours. To maintain internet access during such periods, you simply need to ensure your home router and optical network unit (ONU) remain powered—for instance, by connecting them to a power bank or an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). Additionally, new users can enjoy the service free of charge for the first six months.
